Merry Christmas all and to those of different religious back grounds happy holidays. My question is this, on the top of the rad on the left hand side (the view is from standing in front of the jeep looking into the engine bay) on the corner there is a small tab about an inch long that can be turned 90 degrees one way or the other so that the tab either faces along the rad or to the back of the engine. What is this and which is the correct direction it should be in? Thanks. |

Its possible that its relevant to all of us as I'm not sure that if it's turned one way does it reduce the flow of coolant through the rad. That's why I asked the question in the first place. |
