Ok, so I got my Liberty back in August, ran fine for a few Weeks, but then I thought I was Feeling the Converter Shuddering, but it was very light, and wasn't sure if it was just the Bumps in the Road. Well Today, it Shuddered like Hell when I got Off the Off Ramp and got back up to Speed. Was like it didn't know what Gear it wanted or was getting Hung Up. So that means the Converter is Shot right, and I need to get the Euro or Suncoast? BTW, don't tell me to take it to the Dealer. They are WORTHLESS and can't stand the Fact that I know more about Vehicles than they do. Even if I bring them the TSB's and Paperwork on what needs to be done and how to do, they still won't. It already had some Internal Trans. Work done on it too, I just forget what. I looked it up on Jeep's Site with the VIN Search thing. |

Need more info. Can you describe the shudder? Could be air in the fuel. |

Took the Off Ramp, when I Straightened Out, gave it Gas to Speed Up, drive fine, got up to a lil over 60mph, let off Throttle to Maintain Speed, and it Started to Shudder. Had to let Off the Gas, and it went away, then I got back into it, and it Drove fine. ...but sometimes it does Crank for a lil too long IMO before it Starts. I Checked the Heater Plug too, and it's not Wet, Burnt, ect... Truck just Clicked over 15k Miles the other Day too. |

I'll bet it's air in the fuel, pump up the primer and open the bleed screw, thats the place to start. |

Mine did this from day 1 but of course the 3 dealers I took it to could not reproduce despite being given very detailed instructions . It persisted until I changed the fuel filter and it is now fine. I suspect the WIF sensor was not installed on the original filter tight enough.

Air in fuel X4. Probably time to install a new filter anyway. |

A lift pump is the only thing that cured mine. |

It's got a New Filter. I Changed it August when I bought the Truck. I'll get a Lift Pump soon and get that in there and see if it Fixes the Problem. |
