Well I'm right around 100,000 miles and I guess I should start thinking about doing the timing belt has anyone actually had one fail? I hear mixed views on the whole tool thing some say you need the dealer tools some say you don't... I would like to do it the safest way so if I can get my hands on the tools without spending a crazy amount of cash that would be great. Does anyone onnere have a set that they would be willing to loan out with maybe a paypal deposit? Also if anyone is near SE Michigan and has done the job already I would be happy to buy ya some diesel and beer for some help. I'm sure it's not all that hard of a job, it really dosent look like it but I always get nervous when a small mistake could cost thousands! I have access to a heated/cooled shop with lifts and I have more then enough standard tools. |
