If indeed that the motor is toast, that's too much dough for just a rolling chassis by about double.

Noticed a CRD on fleebay with a bad motor. Doesn't say what is wrong with it but what would a 100k mile crd with a bad motor be worth? There asking price is 6900 but if the motor isn't fixable, the only replacement I found was around $4000. Seems like an expensive "in the blind" investment to me. Would probably have $13+ invested after install. |

Price looks stiff when they have a running 2005 for $12,500 asking price. |
