P0048 - Turbo/Super Charger Boost Control on a 3.7?

Post subject:  P0048 - Turbo/Super Charger Boost Control on a 3.7?
That is the code I am getting but this is the 3.7L gasoline Engine. Why would it throw that code. has the computer been swapped or has there been a bad program from the dealer?

Impossible to swap ECM from the CRD to Gasser....totally different connectors. How did you read the code? I remember there being something about if you used the key sequence some digits were in the wrong order. A P0480 is something to do with the cooling fan.

I was just using my mac tools mini obdII scanner turned the key to the acc. and then read the codes.

Key needs to be in "On" position (but with engine not running - all the dummy lights come on) not "Acc."

Is the Jeep running bad - rough idle, stumbling under acceleration, anything like that?

My first thought would be to go to the nearest Auto Zone and see if they pull the same code with their scanner.

Also, have you posted in the "General Discussions" section to see if anyone there can help?
