I know this is not my dept. I know most of you wish you could crack the code on the TCM. Well, alot of companies make devices that fool the computer into thinking every thing is OK. Such as boost foolers, and even our own SEGR was an EGR signal fooler. Just seems that would be a cheaper way to go, rather then reprogramming the code on the TCM. Just one of those thoughts I dreamt up today. Does any way know exactly how the TCM works, and what kind of signals it is looking for?
Snap-on makes a (expensive) tool that can crack the F37. Ron Wolverton of Suncoast has cracked the codes for other Chrysler TCMs and PTCMs. The CRD crack is in the development stage. Others have used the same Snap-on tool to crack other TCMs and PTCMs. Sorry I did not note the tool, when I saw it, it meant nothing to me until I put two and two together when I asked Ron if he had a crack for the F37.
Don't give up or hold your breath either.
If we had encoder wheels like my Wife's TDI, we could put on encoder wheels with more slots and fool the TCM. Since we have hub bearings with built in encoder wheels, cracking the F37 is a better way to go.
