I had originally ordered a new EU spec TC online, with the plans of installing it myself. On a whim, I approached a dealership to see if they would install it and order in a new one in and give it to me under the F37 recall, which had not yet been done to my CRD. I was pleasantly surprised that they did it. I think that it was because I had the new TC in a sealed box with the correct part number. Short of a long story, I have the new replacement in the box originally sent to me, but it is missing the new bolts. Brand new condition-including some surface rust as mentioned elsewhere on this forum (input shaft is perfect!), missing the four new bolts, packed well and shipped for the exact shipping cost via local UPS depot, to your door- $275.00 |

I approached my dealer about the f 37 also and they'd do it. Problem is they couldn't tell me if it would have the euro converter. That's the only reason I haven't had it done. Even if they got it in, the parts guy said that sometimes they don't even have part # on them. So I'm still trying to find a way to guarantee a euro converter. |

Tinman, Just get them to allow you to check the part # ON THE BOX before they open it. Believe it or not, there is no way to definitively know you have the right TC from the labels/stickers/casting numbers on the converter itself. However, it should be shipped to them in a MOPAR box whcih will have the actual part # on it (68037142AA) DOC |

There's no guarentees on this but the Euro TC has been the standard replacement for what a year now? So all the older ones should be gone. |

What I wonder is if the TC in the F37 install "kit" that the dealer gets has the new stuff. If there was a certain number of kits on the shelf with the old TC that is probably what will get send out. If the supplier is making up the kits as they are requested then I should be OK. |

What is the F37 recall? I have had an for two years. Never have received a recall notice on this.d TC does shift into 5th at 63 mph so I think I have the F37 installed in the TCM. |
