Has anyone installed one on there CRD? how many miles have they had it, and can you take pics of install? in the CRD TECH ONLY part they have a link about an in-line fuel pump, but they say to make sure there is no restriction when off, it def. has some restriction, is this restriction ok? and i know about the wires under the rear seat and i will be using them unless someone has any better ideas? also is the 100 micron filter that goes in line with pump ok?

Can you suck air through it when it's off? If so that's probably good enough. You just don't want it to block the line if it fails. That would leave you stranded until you bypassed it or replaced it.
The 100 micron filter before it is just to protect it from large junk passing through, so that's fine. Mine has a glass body and I can definitely see some flakes caught in it.

ye i can suck air through it right now and its not even installed, just a warning for others, the pump that i had was filled with oil from the factory so do not put your mouth on it to check to see if air can pass through with the pump off hahaha!

My Carter has ~ 35K with no problems, with the Magnaflow, I don't even hear it any more.
For the Mopar Space Cadet Bean Counter Engineers who made claims of pressure on the down stream side of the CP3 causing problems, CACA EL TORO :pepper: :pepper: :!: :!: :!: :!:

i have a magnaflow too but its disconnected right now, im in the process of deleting everything and doing a 2.5 inch straight pipe, the noise from the pump would not bother me, i want my diesel to be as loud as possible :D

so i installed the the Mr Gasket 12-D auxillery lift pump today, i love the sound of it, spliced it into the blue orange wire under passenger rear seat and drill and tapped the unibody right behind the gas tank to mount the unit, over-all installation took me about an hour and a half, if anyone wants pictures of installation let me know.
