Just curious to know where everyone is on miles on their engine. A quick post of current mileage, and if you've had any major engine issues (not including EGR, waterpump, t belt, etc...) I'm at 84k...Hoping to see some people with a lot of miles with no engine issues. ------------------------------ 2005 Jeep Liberty CRD Suncoast Torque Converter (updated springs) and Transgo reprogramming kit Green Diesel Engineering Eco Tune

Just a shade under 36k. I've had a window regulator go, but no issues with the engine. |

78K+. I will neither confirm nor deny that I have, or have not, had any major engine trouble. But for the record, I bought it less than 23 months ago and it had 24K on it then. . . . |

110k km / 68k miles 1 set of major issues (EGR/Fuel filter head/Injector/Fuel Rail/BCM). Occured over a 2-month period, with the Libby spending most of it at the dealer. I bought it at 68k km / 42k miles and did not do my homework before signing, otherwise I would have found out this vehicle was poorly maintained, judging by general state and lack of maintenance... Could have dealt it but that's another story! But hey! Now, it runs smoothly and without issues and I take good care of it, thanks to the sound advice & suggestions of LOST

151,000 MILES No problems, just regular maintenance. Reading the posts here scare me to death, and yet I haven't even experienced a hiccup...engine or transmission. btw, when I did the timing belt change, the water pump was on backorder, so I am still running on the original water pump. No problemos |

91k now on my 05. Bought at 32k, SEGR the first week. Lost a turbo (center shaft siezed and snapped) at 60k. Lost #1 cylinder through oil pan 10 miles later on test drive. New engine (used, also 60k old) at that point. Lift pump installed, original fuel head still good. Replaced CAC hose at 91k, temp PVC replacement wasn't holding up anymore (lasted 10k) Mods: GDE ECO tune. GDE Transmission Tune (Beta) Mr Gasket Lift Pump Opened fuel filler neck (can use the BIG truck nozzles now) 215/85/16 LRD BFG Traction commercial tires Clear exhaust system, 2.5" turbo-back, Flowmaster muffler EHM SEGR Class 3 hitch that pulls 7000 easily External (non computer-linked) boost and EGT gauges. Would like to get a turbo speed gauge of some sort to *know* that the thing is working properly. Failure of boost hose felt just like failure of the turbo - Complete loss of power and lots of smoke. |
