Hey There Braintrust, So I looked at the fuse block and #16 (the rear power outlet) is a 20AMP fuse. According to my math, that means the max AC wattage (via an inverter) it can handle would be a 264 Watt output...right? Here's my formula (trying to solve for x): x WattsAC ÷ 12 x 1.1 = 20amps ...based on the formula: AC Watts ÷ 12 x 1.1= DC Amps Highschool was a loooong time ago, so be easy on me! -p |

No, at 20 amps you have 240 watts (12x20) On the Ac side from the inverter is limited to 240 watts less about a 20% loss due to inefficiency of the inverter. So the inverter would be about 200 watts max. |
