If it contains Molybdenum Di-Sulfide don't use it in anything that has brass or bronze bearings, bushings, gears or other parts. Since I have not had to strip my CRD down to the bare block, I don't know if our engines have any of the alloys that don't get along with Molybdenum Di-Sulfide and can not make any recommendations. I would stick to the recommendations in the manual and compare them to the specs of the oil. In applications like CV Joints, Molybdenum Di-Sulfide based greases are Superior to Lithium based grease.
I am no Doctor but I have heard there is an increase of Manic Depression among auto mechanics who do not get to handle Lithium Base Grease as much as they used to. Since I am not a Doctor I can not recommend swapping out your Ball Joints and Universal Joints for the ones with Grease Fittings to treat a medical condition, but who wants to go into a Psychiatrist's office, put up with their crap, pay out the money, when you could be doing something else that is more fun? Run this past your Hunny if she starts complain about you greasing your Jeep too much, tube of grease is cheaper than pills and Psychiatrist bill.
