I Love my Liberty but if it ever needs to be replaced I would want its replacemnet to be a Wrangler CRD, hope we get in in the states or I may have to move out of county to own one.

So where do you park that again? And is it an unsecured location for your JK? I'm only concerned about the safety and well-being of your new ride... You shouldn't worry about the completely impossible chance of your JK morphing into a KJ some night......

You are a lucky sensored word. Is that built in Toledo too, like the KJ CRD is?

Weird reading this post - majority of Wranglers sold here are CRD :SOMBRERO:

It's parked a few miles from there.. just 15000 or so...

Yes as the VIN has an L, so it was built on Toledo factory.

now I have to find a few parts to build it :JEEPIN:

Not nearly as weird as living in the country of origin and not being able to purchase one.

I'm brushing up on my Spanish, as that is probably the only way I'm going to be able to get a JK CRD.

Same colour as my son's JK Unlimited CRD. One piece of advice, the Wrangler CRDs have one design weakness: the fuel filter is mounted on the right hand chassis rail (under the drivers feet on right hand drive models) while the bottom of the filter is protected, there are two plastic 'T' fittings near the filter (for the return fuel line) and these can break if struck by a stray branch kicking up. I have seen two JK CRDs disabled in the bush in the last six months due to this filter and line location problem. The T piece breaks due to impact and fuel gushes out onto the ground and the vehicle can't be restarted (no ability to reprime). Some people simply relocate the fuel filter head onto the firewall, others get a bash plate for that area.

Enjoy the torque, its awesome.

BTW we just had our Jeep Jamboree down here and I was a judge for the JK Unlimited Extreme Mod 35" + tyres category in the Show and Shine; there were some great machines and all of them were CRDs. You don't need to learn spanish to own one but you might have to learn to drive on the right hand side.
