Seems too cheap, doesn't show license plates. The one little glimmer of a plate kinda looks like a New York plate to me. http://denver.craigslist.org/cto/1999679033.html |

I smell a good buy. I bet you he went to the dealer for 100k service, got sticker shock and asked how much they'd pay for it and he took $1500 off of that for the required maintenance. If close, it wouldn't hurt to look... Boilermaker2 |

104k miles, and the engine is that clean? I call BS. Nobody is that anal about cleaning the engine bay, and even a steam cleaner won't get everything. Original style fuel head, with the heater plugged in... And what are those red wires leading off the battery, to something next to the ground side of the battery (a big relay or capacitor) and then behind the fuel head? I would have said radio or speakers... But that is a stock radio, and no speaker upgrades were evident. Something is decidedly fishy here. This engine bay has had a modification added to it, and is WAY too clean for a high mileage engine, even detailed. Power steering and radiator reservoirs have NO soot around them, even on the seams where it is impossible to clean. The fins of the windshield base don't show any sun damage fading or ice / snow scratches.... I don't think that those pics are from the same vehicle, or even if they are - Doubtful that vehicle pictured has had 100k put on it. My steering wheel shows more wear than that one does, and all that has ever touched that are my bare hands. |

No normal CRD owner would, but, we all know a guy with an Orange '02 KJ 3.7L with a SFA who is a hyper clean freak who follows this section. Heck, he would pull the fuel filter out of the way to clean off the dust behind it after going mudding. Look carefully and you can see the stains on the carpet in the back and on the floor of the back seat. Most likely he paid for the detail job. Price is too low to be true. |

Maybe it has a hidden mechanical fault? But besides that, too good to be true. |

Guys... these scams are all over craigs list. Foreign scammers will steal ads from other places, change the numbers on them, and then list them somewhere else to lure people in. If you fall for this, they'll take your money and you'll never see it again. Remember.. "If it seems too good to be true, it probably is". I found another scam identical to this on a Wrangler Sahara just last week. It booked for $15K, and the price was listed at $5K. Emailed him just to toy with him... and he was "overseas in the military". Yeah right... |

Can't hurt to contact the seller and ask to take it for a test drive. If he gives you a run around its a scam. |

I was lazy on my first post and for that I apologize. WHen the price seems to good to be true, I alway copy/paste the title in a search engine and see how many Craig's List listings I pull up. The very first one I clicked on was flagged for removal. I've gotten good deals on Craig's list but I've also gotten the "I'm in Iraq and you need to wire the money 'cuz it is in long term storage" BS line too. Boilermaker2 |

Um.. that engine bay isn't clean guys. Mine looks better than that with 90K on the clock, and I have had my Jeep stuck in mud pits. P.S. I can't believe some of you guys still think this ad is legit. |
