So I'm still trying to learn my way around under the hood with my CRD, and today came across an unplugged harness. could anyone possibly identify this for me? I took a few pics, but hopefully before I figure out how to post them, someone might have some info. It has two pins with black and orange/purple wires running to it through silver wire loom. It runs behind the coolant tank it seems through the firewall. I'm interested to find out what this is for, and why it was unplugged.

For background, I have searched around through the service manual, searched the forum here for a variety of possible terms, searched all over the engine bay wherever this might have reached to, obviously with no conclusion. I'm sure this is an easy one for you guys, and I'd really appreciate any feedback. Still learning. Thanks!

That connector is for the low coolant level sensor that is mounted in the bottom of the degasser bottle/expansion tank.

Yep, shouldn't be a big deal as long as your coolant level is good until you get a chance to reach under there and plug it back in. Just keep it clean till then.
