Hasn't gotten cold yet, and actually unseasonably warm today with temps in the mid to high 50's but its coming... My wife has been getting into some sewing projects so I had her make up a nice grille cover for our 05 CRD on sunday. We're pretty happy with it. Fitment is done with four straps around the back of the grille and then velcro. Should keep the CRD's temps nice this winter... ![]() Max |

I think i'm ready. jeep is lifted, new tires on, D-ring hitch under the seat ready for action, just need to get the strap in there. the focus still needs her winter tires, then she's ready. the bike, omni glh, and mercedes and tucked in for winter (yesterday). Omni is hooked up to battery charger, mercedes needs charger yet, and the bike charger just went bad!! oh, and just found a stinkin leak on the mercedes that was never there before. looks like i got some work to do this winter. yeah, i'm not ready i guess. |

I have a couple more things to get done as well. Did fire up the snowblower and have the lawn equipment winterized. My 3 series could use some winter tires this year as well. Later, Max |

I doubt that I will EVER be any more ready for Wisconsin winters than you would be for Texas summers. Looks very nice, though. How hard is it to remove? Also, be very careful about dirt or twigs getting between the cloth and the paint. The inevitable continuous tiny movement as you drive, combined with sand, will make mincemeat of a paint job and you won't know until the spring. |

Well I changed all of the fuids in the Jeep. I Winterized 8 of my motorcycles and packed 5 of them into my Race Hauler to bring into storage for the winter. The only thing good about winter is that I get to save money on Insurance! ![]() ![]()

Damm, you got some nice toys there!!! also, i forgot about the snowblower... brought it to the garage from the shed, but haven't fired it up yet. that old thing STINKS!! i'm debating buying a new one just so i don't have to reak like gas/oil this winter. but i did get all the lawn furniture tucked into the shed somehow, now just need to take Ins off the bike... |

Spymoto I agree you definately have some nice toys there! Good selection of bikes. I have an 75' RD350 smoker (and like the smell of two stroke smoke devlish). Now tucked away for the winter. Next spring going to ditch the points and go digital CDI ignition on the bike. Also have an NSR80 project bike that needs a bunch of work to be roadworthy. Here's the RD: Also, fitment of the vinyl grille cover isnt too bad. I removed the stock grille (six tabs and takes about 2 minutes) then there are four nylon straps that go around the back and loop thru the top and are secured with velcro. My wife also says if anyone is interested she is willing to make some more. We went down to JoAnn fabrics for the materials. They have a good selection of marine vinyl in lots of colors. Later, Max |
