I am looking at buying this very clean CRD for 11k.
Sport package w/ power moon roof, a/c, Auto, tow package ... yes its 4x4.

All options other than leather seats.

11k out the door and only 41k miles.

Yes one owner and clean car fax

Good deal????

Let here some feedback and is there anything I should look for.

This is from a Jeep dealer. I mean a BIG Jeep dealer in my city. :?:

I'd buy it for that in a hearbeat, even though I don't need another one.

Yep, get it. I just got mine a month ago with 45K and paid a lot more than that. Don't mess around -- there are people nationwide looking for CRD's and it will be gone. I was negotiating for one 800 miles away and called to buy it, and it was sold.

honestly, do you all enjoy for a daily driver?

I'm in an F150 now and I don't have to tell you about the kind of torque a 5.4 Triton motor has. Yes it's a gas hog but man is it fun to drive.

11k is very cheep but I am worried about parts 5 or 6 years done the road. I keep my cars 8 to 10 years or longer.

my 97 F150 has 286k on it.

no problem getting parts for an f150... EVER

Yes, I 'm worried about parts in the future. I plan to have a spare turbo and maybe a spare drivetrain if I can buy a wreck.
I love driving this thing and want to have it as a daily car when I'm an old fart going to coffee with the guys. Please read the FAQ for newbies. This will give you an idea of the issues and concerns before you commit to one of these. The vehicle isn't just transportation, it's a hobby for the person that wants extreme longevity and loves diesels.
Also, drive one a bit. They are very jittery and busy compared to the pickup you are driving, but much easier to navigate around town.

Drive the CRD and see if you like it first.

you should drive it first, I think you will like it. the size is very good its small enough to be easy to drive around town and park. I don't even have isssues driving mine in downtown Philly traffic. drfinatly easier to handle than a full size truck. I test drove a Silverado and was told to take it home overnight, I took it home to park and never made it past that test. it went right back, it was too big to be easy to handle on the narrow streets and driveway in my neighborhood.
The CRD is the only KJ I have ever driven so I can't compare it to a gasser. I came from an Outback. my first impression of the CRD with out pushing it hard was that it didn't feel fast but felt like it had plenty of power in reserve. these jeeps do have plenty of torque and it shows when climbing hills or towing.

That price also seems to be very good if you think you want it better act fast. I paid over 16k out the door for my loaded 06 limited in Aug. 2009 with just under 38,000 miles. That price for a sport with those miles and condition is good.

the seats in the sport do stain easy so you may want to invest in good fitting covers or upgrading to leather if you buy it..... just saying about that it minor and don't let that scare you off.

I am going through hell trying to get a new engine put in mine att he tune of about $8000 and a lot of head ache over it with Jeep. So yes I would buy it, I like mine way too much to give up on it.

location? If you live in or near mountains, the steeper and longer the climbs, the better you will like it. I'm willing to put up with some crap for the mountain and off road performance. Guys like to tow with them also. I will have a trailer when I find the right one.

If you won't be towing or climbing, I'm not sure what the point would be. Your Big city dealer should provide a complete service record. For me, the deal would be off if they would not. . . even at that price.
