Quite costly to run unlees you are going for extended
drain intervals
I run scheaffer products in my 03 poewrstoke and the crd
the best in my opinion and much cheaper than the purple stuff
Doin 8000 mile changes on the 03 with 5w40 9000 scheaffer and
a quality filter.
A 350.00 dollar order gets ya free shipping check out there

I wouldn't bother with that stuff like he said ^ too expensive. many of us here, myself included are using Shell Rotella T6 5w40. Rotella T6 is $19.50 a gallon at my local walmart. the rest of the majority here is using Mobil1 turbo Diesel Truck or Amsoil. I looked in to that Schaffer's oil and would try it but to get it shipped would cost too much and I wouldn't use enough with only one vehicle to buy $350 worth for free shipping.

Edit I did look at shaffer's again. A 6/one gallon case of the 9000 series full synthetic is 155.12 + shipping ig you order less than $350 vs Rotella T6 (6 gallons @ 19.50 x 6 = 117) vs Mobil1 TD truck 5w40 @walmart (23.99 x 6 =143.94) vs Royal purple 12 quart case $133.27 (10.47 per quart x 4 = 41.88 per gallon x 6 to equel a 6/1gallon case is $251.28!!!!!)

I doubt that there are many differences between those 4 to make any one oil worth much more than others.
