I went with Sylvannia Silverstar Ultras - they may not last as long - but I like the light. http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProducts/AutomotiveLighting/HighPerformance/SilverStarUltra/ |

never tried changed the headlights in the Jeep yet but I won't put in any silverstar. had them in the Outback i used to own, they only lasted about 9 months. Yeah they are very nice and bright but just know that they are 2x the price of normal ones and last half as long or less. to me thats 4x the price when you factor in the life and not worth it to me but you may not think the same. |

Just change mine yesterday (One has burn), The last owner have install EIKO 9007 80/100Watts and I bought the truck almost 2 years ago so they have last more then 2 year for sure! I didn't check what was on the truck and bought a set of normal Silvertar 9007 55/65Watts and I'm not satisfy, just a bit more clear then OEM but can't compare with the powerfull EIKO. Some other hight power headlight produce a ultra white surgery hospital room blue light. Not the EIKO off road, they are chrystal clear and don't bother to much other driver on the road. I'm going back to the store and try to find the same set of bulb if possible. Get a set of 80/100w clear bulb and don't worry about your wiring, he can handle the 6/8amp those light need |

Go to Hella's site. There you can find replacement "Offroad only" 80/100 bulbs. They are MUCH brighter than stock units. http://cat.hella.com/hella-nafta/jsp/se ... @H83155222 |

mikey1273 wrote: If you find a place please share it with us!!! Yes I will but you can found them on the net for arround $7-$11 depend on wich one you order (mine got a clear lens with multicolor reflection not the blue one) On the EIKO site there spec indicate a 150 hours lifespan expectation on low beam On the Hella site CRD Joe suggest they indicate 100 hours lifespan for there lamp...And they are the blue one.... I cant explain why mine have last that long but since they are cheap to buy keeping a spare set in my camping trailer with the others I already have is a smart option I can afford |
