I would like to hear from people that ran the in-tank lift pump mod and which p/n fuel pump you are using. From what I understood, the airtex E7181M is discontinued for the E7187M. Anybody is running the E7187M? Also, would anybody have the Carter, Cummins, Mopar or any other fuel pump manufacturer equivalent p/n for the E7187M?

Thanks.

I used the pump and canister from my 06 Cummins. The libby's canister is the Dodge. Combined witha Stanadyne FM100 fuel filter, this system works great. Pretty much looks factory, except for my wiring. I had the Faceut external pump on the frame for a little while, but this is much better. Well worth the time and effort.

Airtex E7181M from Autozone here in Round Rock, TX.. $173.00 = tax. I used the electrical connectors robbed out of the old units lower connector, right under the top plate. If one uses the connectors, be sure to clean them well before soldering on new wire! Works like a champ and the Libby is snappier than ever. I still have an air in fuel issue at extended WOT though, gonna scrap that factory filter head for a quality aftermarket one.

Just put it in last month. Was able to find older stock 5143160AA Dodge pump.

Airtex is oem mfr of the Jeep and Dodge fuel cannister

Good tradeout, Tinman - had any of the usual 'loss of fuel supply' problems at start\stop events encountered by so many other Ram fuel 'upgrades', necesitating "draw straws" and many other kinky 'fixes'?
