Ok, tore into door and found this switch totally corroded. Just to be sure, I cut off switch and completed circuit and BINGO, window latch popped to open position. I'm linking pic and I hope it works. Anybody know part # and/or proper name for this thing so I can order new one? http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/59 ... 31340.jpg/ Thanks in advance, WWV |

There is chat to the effect that you can get the micro switch only for just a couple of bucks but the only part # associated with that chat and an old TSB is CENAD160 which comes up as a "hard to find" part on a Google search. You might PM some of the folks in the strings I posted on your original TSB query to see if they have a more recent parts number. Looking at the 2006 parts manual I think??? 05143017AA is a bit of wiring harness that includes the switch (the 2005 parts manual has the same # but doesn't specifically mention the micro switch). The list price for that is $12 according to Mopar Parts America. I'd be inclined to say pull that bit of wiring harness, which I assume runs to a plug that can be undone, and take it into a Jeep dealer parts counter and say I want this and I think but am not sure that the parts # is 05143017AA. |
