I installed a gauge with the sensor on a sandwich adapter between the filter and block and fired her up and am showing ~65 psi and that held for the 5 min I ran her. That seems high to me but wanted to make sure before I tore into it again

I installed mine on a T fitting with the stock oil pressure switch. When it's cold it'll easily peg the 80psi scale. When it's warm I'll get around 30psi cruising at 1500 rpm. Drive it around for 15-20 min in traffic and it should settle out. |
