Post subject:  INJECTORS CLEANING

Hi to everybody.
Has anyone tried injectors cleaning with "seafoam treatment" or "liqui moly purge" or anything else? What's the best way to use them? Are they efficient?
Merry Xmas to everyone. :?:

what do you mean by seafoam treatment to clean ingectors?

I have used seafoam a few times, in the oil as a cleaner before a change, in fuel as a cleaner and fuel conditioner, I also filled my fuel filter at the last change with it. I ran the engine a minute or two then shut off for 5 minutes, then restart and drive it around getting on the skinny pedal some. this forces the engine to run on mostly pure seafoam to clean the ingectors and parts the fuel will touch. not sure how effective it is. I noticed a bit smoother idle after it. you can't pour it in to the intake via a vaccum hose like on a gasser engine, you will cause a run away engine with a diesel.

very effective if your injectors have 100,000 miles on them.
