I had my broken ignition actuator replaced 9 months ago by my local dealership, the part failed last week :furious: . I paid them well over $300 and they won't stand behind their repairs saying because a factory part wasn't readily available they had to use a salvage yard part. I called the Jeep complaint department and was given the run around there also :grim: . Luckily I found the name of a parts dealer here on Lost Jeeps and ordered a Dorman #924-704 from Rockauto.com. They had the part here in 3 work days at a cost of $28.80 delivered to my door. I just finished the installation and it took me all of 15-20 minutes. I wonder if the dealership would refer any installations to me, I'd like to make a $300 profit for 15 minutes easy work.
