Hi all

I just got OME long reach shocks for the rear, do I need to use a bigger bump stop to stop them from bottoming out and if so how much bigger, any help would be great ( using OME rear springs and spacer 3" lift )

You need to add 3" of bumpstop.

3" lift = 3" extended bumpstops need to be added.

for the rear - the biggest issue tends to be the springs falling out when you're crossed up......
bumpstops will help keep the springs in place.

If you do just the OME lift with the 132Ls, (no spacers for extra lift), would you still use extended rear bumpstops?

Hi,
the easiest way to increase your bumpstops is to add some Hockey pucks. This will help in two ways, firstly when the shock is compressed it won't bottom out, secondly it will avoid the tyre rubbing against the inner wing of the wheel arch and damaging tyre and body panels. It's a easy fix.

I have OME 132 L shocks & 948 coils and 2 extra top isolators and sitting at 22 inc.

For the front I haven't added extra bumpstops as I have OME 131 and I am told they come with extra end of run stops already inside, so not required.

Fil.
