Has anyone had to fix exhaust leaks after turbo?
Just had TB & Water pump replaced. Boost hoses checked and are fine. ORM is the usual configuration for EGR. Mechanic says exhaust is leaking between turbo and exhaust pipe. I crawled under there this morning while changing oil and cleaning MAP, and can see black soot from leak. When starting after oil change, with hood up, exhaust rising from passenger side of engine. Does this affect performance?
Thanks in advance.

Check with geordi as he has been into turbo removal/replacement several times. As far as I know there is nothing there on an OEM turbo except for 2 flanges clamped together by what I think is a marmon clamp which might be loose.
