Just done brake pads and rotors all round. I didn't buy any ebrake shoes because I've probably used it a couple of times in the lifetime of the vehicle so didn't expect any wear. I did, however, find that the friction surface is delaminating from the metal shoe. Anyone else experienced this? |

Not a CRD issue as the brakes are the same as the gasser nor is it a Jeep issue. Just Google "brake shoe delamination" for lots of examples of the friction material coming unglued over time. |

Ah yes, interesting, I've never experienced this before. It seems to be a corrosion related issue exacerbated by harsh winters and salt. The super thin friction surface on these shoes probably doesn't help matters. |
