The one from the dealer (if it is still available) will be mucho expensive. If you can obtain the connecter repair kit x2, wire is pretty cheap still, so do it yourself. Lowe's and Home Depot sell wire by the foot in different colors.

After searching on here and pouring over the parts fiches and manual I have not been able to find the part number for the wiring harness that connects to the Transmission Control Module. Any one able to help me out here? Thanks, |

The engine wiring harness plugs in too, right? So, you're looking for the 60-pin cable that goes down to the transmission from the TCM? I've found repair kits for the connectors but not the part# or cable itself - might have to call a stealer... ! Mark |

Yeah I am dealing with a bunch of electronic gremlins that seem to all involve the TCM. I have a feeling it is the harness and it looks like a few wires have been repaired previously so I was hoping to just pull the whole thing and throw in a new one. it looks like it is the same one as the engine harness but even that I can't seem to find for the diesel motor. Thanks a ton Mark, I don't think I will buy off eBay and would rather just buy new to be sure. But this is great because they have the part number listed there. The part number is 56050448AG if any one else is searching this. |

Sounds right, you can find an earlier revision of that one in the fiche on page 147, Figure 8-1205: "Wiring, Engine and Related Parts 4 Cylinder" The engine and transmission codes match our CRDs... Mark |

once again i see no search engine in this forum so im posting randomly. anyone have a preference for a good digital gauge as in edge or scan gauge? which should i buy? i see sg2 doesn't display a few things for fuel |

MK38tech: Search is at the top. So I just went to my dealer and find out that 5605044AG is no longer available and has been replace with the newer 56050448AH. And apparently these "improvements" warrant doubling the price. Dear god. It the problem persists after this I think I am going to shoot myself. |
