I don't expect any action on the part of the Gooberment. I was #6 out of 25,000 needed to get their attention.

I am # 7, and my dad is # 8! Wishful thinking.

I signed it, #14, and I shared it via Facebook. I love the motive behind the petition, but I also realize that, unfortunately, most people don't care, and even IF this petition manages to get 25,000 'signatures,' it's unlikely to do anything. Still, try to share this with others!

I'm #16. I sure hope it makes it to 25K. If it does get to 25K what will that mean other then 25K people agree?

That is a drop in the bucket compared the rest of the clueless population out there that don't know that many cars in Europe get 50+ MPG USA on diesel, and are about the same as the compact car they are driving here that gets 30.

I got 53 in my last tank in my 99 Jetta TDI, and I got 22 pulling my 3500lb travel trailer with my with my Liberty CRD. Gasser would be luckly to get 12 MPG pulling the same load. My company gas vans regularly get 8-12 MPG with just a few tools and a latter on top.
