| Post subject: | Power Windows Trouble |
It all started with the windows not working at all one day. Turned out it was a fuse. I replaced it and they all worked for a couple of weeks. Then only the passenger side worked. Both drivers side windows would not work at all. It worked like that for a couple months until yesterday when now only the front passenger side worked and the rear passenger is stuck down. I thought maybe it was the master window switch goin out. The local dealer had one and I asked if I could try it out first before buying because I was not sure if that was the problem. That switch would roll down the driver rear but not go up. It would function the passenger front ok. No driver front and no pass. rear. What is goin on? The parts guy mentioned maybe the BCM (body control module) was goin out. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance. |

Do you hear a motor inside the door panel run when hitting the switch? Or no sound at all? If you hear the motor but window does not go up or down then could be the window regulator. Or if no sound, it could be the window motor itself too. |

Theres no sound. The wierd thing is that the dealers switch did more fuctions than my original switch, but not all. So it seems that the motors are still working. |
