I throw code 0093 uder moderate throttle. I can keep the code off if I drive easy, less than 60 percent load. Before the GDE mod it would shut down the motor. Now it just throws the code , sometimes going into limp mode. Any ideas? |

This is most likely air in the fuel line. With a GDE tune, when this code is thrown, you will go into limp mode and be limited to 3k rpm. If you still have the original fuel filter head, start with that replacement. If that's already done, I would try a cheap in line lift pump. |

How long were you having the P0093 code? Prolonged driving with this code can lead to damage on the fuel metering inlet valve (MPROP) on Bosch fuel pump, wear out the plungers inside the pump and damage the PCV. Injesting the air leads to lack of lubrication inside those parts leading to scoring of the critical (tight) clearances. |

several months before in tank pump which cured the air problem. The fuel head was done before that , but it did not help the air in fuel problem. The ASD would shut down the vehicle during this event until I had the ecm reprogrammed . Now it just throws a code but no shut down. I can go a long time without throwing the code until I put my foot in it. |
