This may be unpopular, but I bought the Yellow top Optima as that is the model with the much higher CCA and deep cycle capability. This is more of what the diesels need since we have the high amperage glow plugs sucking power at the same time as the starter. It did cost an arm and a leg, but life has been good in the cold-start department since then.
