Order the full torque today. Keith was very helpful . Now I cant wait to get it here. I bought a travel trailer last week. The Jeep had a hard time pulling it around. It weighs 3000 pounds unloaded. I'm ready to give this a little more torque. Factory torque converter. I'm going to start with the tune and then a torque converter. I never had any shudder at all. So will have to wait and see. |

I dunno about the full torque tune, I have only the eco tune. I am wondering if perhaps there's more to your story than meets the eye. I tow a full size TT that weighs close to 5,000 lbs when "loaded for bear." And while the eco tune was helpful, the CRD towed it ok even without that. How many miles are on your Jeep, and have you ever had the intake cleaned out? I ask because even though mine has had a Provent to minimize the oil sent to the intake since 11,000 miles, when I had to replace the head gasket at 150,000 miles, the intake had crud built up in it, and if that happens significantly, it'll choke off a lot of power. If you have that problem, the full torque tune might not help much. |

I'm planning on taking to the rocky mountains a lot. It does pull pretty well. Keith said for the weight and the mountains full torque was the best. Im not going till spring to the rockys. I'm going to have he new 7 volt steel Glow plugs put in. That would be a great time to clean the intake. Thats a great idea when I clean the map it dirty in there . |

Got the flash drive on Friday. Down loaded the Jeep on Sat. Keith sent the full torque at 7:00 pm Sat at night. Down loaded Full tune to the Jeep and 7:30. Took first test at 8:00. It even sounds differt. A lot of power is so close to the top of the peddle. It going to take a little while to get used to it. It dont drive the same. I'm having a hard time getting over the sound. It was quiet before now it seems load. |
