So,
I have read a bunch on the common leak where the lines go into the cooler. It seems like replacing the cooler with an aftermarket cooler is the common solution, but I thought I read about someone who found a way to replace the seal on the factory lines. I can't find it again. Am I crazy?

What are all of you doing with the cooler leak? Aftermarket?

thanks
Jason

I would try cleaning and reseating the fiitings first.

My previous jeep was suffering from the same illness. When I brought it in to the dealer for service, I had asked the mechanic to also look at the leak. He fixed it and said that the fittings needed to be cleaned and reseated properly, he never said that anything needed replaced.

I searched around a bit this AM and found this old post regarding replacing these fittings viewtopic.php?f=5&t=17573&p=220351&hilit=cooler+disconnect+quick#p220351

Also for what it's worth, maybe not much, I had leaky quick disconnects on a fuel line on a gas vehicle years ago and the fix was to simply add an appropriate size "O" ring to tighten up and seal the connection. Worked great for at least the next 20K miles when I traded the vehcile in,
