Hello all, we have an 05 CRD Liberty with 133k miles so far. The problem we are having is, it keeps throwing a couple codes. They are, p0299 everytime you start it up, and when you get into the throttle it goes into limp mode with a p0234 code, it gets really bad to the point on the interstate you can't push it at all or it trips... So far things we have done is removed the egr and cleaned it but on the stock tune it throws a p401 but with our kerma tune it doesn't throw that code. It has SAMCO hoses, FCV is removed, MAP is clean, the vacuum is perfect all the way across. The actuator don't seem like its sticking. The vacuum valve that controls the turbo gets really hot though. And also I hook up the scangauge to it last night and drove around and the boost seems to be perfect. Max boost was 22-23 psi. I'm puzzled on this. :banghead: Any ideas would be great.

Thanks

Welcome to LOST

Anything over 20psi will cause an overboost. The ECU will cut fuel to cut boost. That is why going easy works. When mine was overboosting, it woust still do 80mph if I took my time getting there.

What I want to know is this kerna tune? What is it? How does it work? And do you still ber the underboost and overboost conditions stock?

Its overboosting on both. More often on the stock tune. And the kerma tune is what my dad decieded on for a tune since they offered EGR delete. :juggle: So the boost doesnt excede 20 PSI?
