I'm reading a ground somewhere. I can get the lights to flash from the trailer hitch plug. |

Just ordered a new combo switch set. It's the only place I can chase it down to. |

MFS. All is well now. Because of work I had to go to the dealer as they had it in stock but 300% more than Rock Auto. |

Great that its solved. did it just stop one day or did you have any symptoms before it failed completely? |

Not solved. The right TS no longer works but works with 4way flashers and locks. Grrrrrr. I pulled the new led bulbs out and replaced everything with normal bulbs now. Going going home now to swap the old MFS with the new and see if that does the trick. |

![]() Anyone have the wire color code for the turn sig MFS? Everything works except the right TS. There is no low voltage except to the left TS cable. |

The turn signals coming out of the MFS switch and going into the Hazard switch are actually ground.....not voltage. Left turn coming out of MFS is White/Light Blue......pin 6 Right turn coming out of MFS is Light Blue/White.....pin 10 They then come out of the hazard switch as +12 volts and go off to the lights. Left turn is White/Dark green (pin 7) and Right turn is White/Orange (pin 3).......you expect to see +12 volts flashing here! Your system worked for a while after replacing parts...try re-plugging everything. I do not know how to post a link to the circuit diagram alone for the 2006 KJ. You can follow this link courtesy of SAM to download the whole circuit diagram and maintenance manual for the 2006 KJ. You need the "2006 KJ SM PDF"....about 63 Mb in total. Otherwise I can try upload some relevant circuit diagrams here...have not done it before. http://www.colorado4wheel.com/manuals/Jeep/KJ |

Yeah it comes up as a low voltage positive and as soon as the switch activates it becomes a ground. I cannot find anything else with the same output. I feel I might have to replace the hazard switch again. |

I feel I might have to replace the hazard switch again. You can do some more tests before buying parts. Firstly do you get +12 volts flashing on the outputs of the Flasher unit pins 3 (Right turn)White /Orange and pin 7 (Left)White/Dark Green when you have ignition ON and activate the indicator lever? You can stick a small pin into the cables through the insulation to check these voltages while everything is plugged in. If you do not get flashing +12 volts on the one output pin, ie. pin 3 for your failing Right Turn Signal, then you need to remove that wire from the connector and see if you now get voltage on that pin. In other words this White/Orange lead may have a short in it which is pulling the voltage down. If you do get voltage on that wire then you need to trace it further to the turn bulbs to see where it goes missing. |
