Hi just a quick question, I have Air care emissions inspection coming up got the EGR cleaned up and if I bypass the provent type CCV filter action set up that I have installed to factory setup it should pass the inspections. There is no CEL light or any other codes, keeping my fingers crossed.....thanks.

a properly installed Provent should pass.

it's collecting oil vapors - it's not releasing them.

(our inspections are for codes on the computer only - gassers check Carbon - which the diesel will pass - but it's not required for diesel)

I have never had Aircare ever open my hood on any vehicle. My Jeep will never go now if they cancel it as promised next year. You will have more problems convincing them the Libby came with a diesel most likely.

If it is properly installed, I would suspect they would think it is factory anyway.

If your Provent is installed correctly without draining on to the ground it is 100% legal. Some people just let the botom small hose drain to the ground, This is not legal. All that is needed a cap or drain valve that can be opened and drained at each oil change.
