Looking for help if anyone has come across this.

When driving slow speeds with constant throttle pressure the engine revs will oscillate and cause the vehicle to speed up, then slow down. It isn't a major deal, just an inconvenience. Almost like something is loose on the throttle feedback or fuel pump, haven't investigated yet.

Any ideas?? Awesome jeep.

1. Check fuel filter.... it may need replacement, a clogged fuel filter will deprive the high pressure fuel pump of fuel.

2. Check Boost hoses for rips, cracks and air leaks.

3. Check the tiny vaccum hoses for cracks, air leaks and disconnections.

Start there for now.

I think your issue is that you have a throttle on your CRD. Remove it and your issue should be resolved.

The CRD is a drive by wire engine. No linkage between the engine and the pedal. You could have a bad pedal where the pedal is signaling that you are changing its position but you are not. Just throwing it out as a possibility.

At what speed and RPM is this happening?
If you are at 10mph and ~1000 rpm and the ocillation is 100-200 rpm, thats actually kinda normal.

When I drive though a 25mph school zone I try to keep the rpm at 1100. That is just barely touching the pedal.
