I looked at thermo and it makes sense to have fat round part pointing toward rad. When it opens it will be far easier to open in this position? Hot coolant moves out motor up to top rad hose into radiator. Wax pellet will get heat first. I installed this backwards like someone posted last year with round part sitting close old thermo. My setup is aluminum housing with chev thermo installed. |
