changed oil Saturday. Used Rotella T6 & oversize Mobil 1 filter. (with addtional oil) Wife went to church Sunday morn....said oil lite came on for a few seconds on the way. Then went out. Same thing on return trip. Does larger filter require longer "filter soak" ? Or am I looking at bad oil pressure sensor again ? I'm on my 3rd one in last 35,000 miles.

No...You should not have to soak any filter. What Rotella T6 oil did you use? P/N of the oil filter? What was the temp out? Was the Jeep left out overnight?

Bad oil PSI sensor's? I did not know this was a problem?

Anyone else here of oil PSI sensor issues?

used Rotella T6 5w-40, Mobil 1 M-301 filter. And yes, Jeep lives outside overnite & it was very cold.....5-10 degrees with high winds. By filter soak I meant the time it takes for the filter material to absorb oil. Theoretically it would take a large filter longer to absorb oil than a smaller one. It may only be seconds, but I suppose it could trigger the oil light.
Oil pressure sensors ARE a known issue on the 2.8 engine.
The only thing different on this oil change was the oil filter. Have always used Rotella oil and have not had any oil pressure light issues since replacing last sensor on 11/26/11 @ 104,465 miles. I am now at 115,517 miles. Previous sensor (#2) replaced 4/21/10 @ 86,787 miles.
Another thought is: is Rotella oil so good that it is holding soot and dirt in suspension, yet filter is allowing some to pass which may be clogging the oil pressure sensor? If problem persists, I think I will try going back to Motorcraft filter & see what results are.

You should never get a low psi light. That spells danger! Unless its a sensor problem? No filter soak would be needed. Being your outside did you plug it in? If not I would suggest doing so. Also I would run Mobil 1 0w-40 it has a lower viscosity and will prevent bearing damage at very cold start up.

There are aftermarket scan gauges like ULTRAGUAGE & SCANGUAGE II to hook up wile running to check your oil pressure. I 'm not sure which one will display the oil PSI in the Jeep CRD.

Good luck!

Oil pressure sending units are pretty durable; I've only had one fail in decades and it was on a 1st gen Plymouth mini van that fortunately had both an idiot light and a gauge with separate sending units so I could tell pressure was ok from the gauge. I do find it a bit odd that you have had more than 1 failure although at those temps (assume F not C) it's certainly possible to read low pressure at idle or low speed during engine warm up if the block heater was not plugged in.

It's not impossible that your oil pump is weak so checking oil psi with a suitable scanner or temporary installation of a oil pressure gauge might be worth a few $s.

I did some checking and the above stated scaners do not give you oil pressure readings, sorry for the incorrect info.

I would try some type of aftermarket oil PSI system.

Good luck.
