I've been searching the forums here, and cannot find where anybody has tried/given a definative report on the Diablosport Power Puck in a CRD. Have I just missed it, or has nobody tried one? If you have one, how do you like the performance, mileage, etc.? Thanks, Rob |

Thanks, Rob Last time I talked to Diablo sport they told me they never made anything for 05-06 crd liberty but I do see that on eBay all the time. They said only 3.0l engine for the Grand Cherokee they made them for! So you may want to call or email them first. |

I may be speaking out of turn but I'd venture that the consensus is "cheater" chips are to be avoided although I know some have and maybe still are using them. A better approach is a retuning/remapping of the ECU to address a number of items including improved economy, better/more power, lower soot into the intake, etc. using a GDE tune (http://www.greendieselengineering.com/g ... ethod=home), which is what I have, or some have an Inmotion tune. Cost is more than a chip but the benefits IMHO are well worth the investment. |

i ran an Edge EZ for a while, no comparison to the GDE tune. Yes, there was an improvement in power but minimal MPG gains. GDE tune was a bit more $ than the Edge EZ but much more refined, better MPG, and shuts down the EGR. |
