Drove 1050 miles today from Jacksonville FL to Ft Leonardwood MO. 15 hours! Tried to keep the cruise set at 70 mph for most of the trip. Averaged 28 mpg. The CRD ran great. Not a single problem. It was a good thing I did a good inspection on it yesterday because I did find that my fuel heater finally decided to burn up and start leaking. I just pulled the fuse and filled the heater plug with RTV. No more leaks. I will replace the filter head later when I return home. |
