Has anyone found thermostat gaskets? If not, what type of RTV are you using? What about the sensor in the thermostat housing? RTV on the threads? (I plan to leave the back half of the water pump installed and just replace the front. RTV here as well?) Thanks! DOC |

Tstat gasket is PN 5066806AA and should be available from a local dealer for ca. $5 and rtv on sending unit threads is what I used. When I did my OEM tstat the sending unit electric plug was hard to access but I was able to relocate it when I installed the old plug on the new housing.. Sir Sam's TB write up (http://colorado4wheel.com/content/KJ_TB.html) says just to "O" ring and a bit of grease on the WP front half install |
