Bad News: Just filled up at my regular station (Hess) and paid $ 2.55/gal (most ever) Good News: Regular gas was the same price Maybe not: The germans have a word for enjoying the pain of others (schaudenfraude ). However, the price point for all fuel keeps rising although diesel (in the summer at least) ia a "bargain". |

Just filled up at lunch time for $2.539 per gallon at a local Sunoco, although most places are running about $2.609 per gallon. Low fuel light kicked on and I squeezed in 19.7 gallons. Regular unleaded is ranging from $2.689 to $2.859 (even at the same intersection). |

Couple months ago, called my friends down in Texas. They were out and about for the weekend. She threw in during the conversation "Oh, we just filled up at a Valero station for $2.25 a gallon!". My immediate response was "KISS MY A##!!!!". This was followed by several seconds of raucous laughter on their end, then "ok, if you insist!", then kissing sounds coming over the phone. |

1.11 euro a liter X $1.20 per 1 euro X 3.8 liters in a gallon = $5.06 a gallon here for normal diesel not the Super Diesel. |
