Hey ppl. its been a while since I posted, I just need some feedback here. I'm about to get on my second TB job and I will only replace the front of the water pump, not the housing. so, can I do this with the graf pump or does it have to be OEM pump? is the graf pump decent quality for another 100k miles? Thanks. |

Excellent question. (Replacing the front half is the ONLY way to go, BTW.) Check with ID Parts. DOC |

96k on my limited. I sold my sport (first TB job) with 120k on the clock. Do you know if any one has experience with the graf pump? |

I remember reading of one member that put a Graf one in but it seems like he only has about 10k on it (at the time of his posting). I would really like to know about the interchangeability of the front and guts too. I have 3 of these beasts that are all coming up on 100k and I want to do the TB service (and related stuff) once and the right way while I have each of them torn apart. |

I put in the Graf, it's working great. I changed out the front half with the OEM rear with 0 problems, they are 100% compatible. I was surprised that I noticed a much stronger flow of coolant into the tank after changing it, I'm not sure how much of that was me never really having paid serious attention to it before, but it definitely felt like more fluid was moving more rapidly anyways. I'm sure the complete draining of the cooling system and renewal didn't hurt either. You wouldn't believe some of the crud that came out of there, thankfully it was all very small stuff. |

Thanks for the input hexus. How many miles on that graf pump? |
