Anyone try using this gauge with any success? http://www.amazon.com/dp/B001U9EY0C

I know there are issues with the ScanGauge products due to the OBD port. I assume the same issues would present themselves with the EcoMeter, but thought it was worth asking.

I don't usually play on this side of the forum. I have a KK gasser and have one of these and absolutely love it. The more of a hypermiler I become, the more I wish I had bought the ScanGauge. I think the Ecometer is worth it.

If you have a cell or tablet that runs android operating system, you can download the Torque Pro app for 5 dollars and get instant and average MPG.

The thing I like a lot about the EcoMeter is when it changes colors if you're putting your foot in to it. More red lights up, you're being too heavy, the more green colors is Eco.

99% chance it won't work on the CRD. Sorry, but it'll either lock up after a few minutes or display erroneous values due to fuel type. Things like that are for run of the mill gassers - you drive an oddball.
