Can the ECM's be swapped without having to reprogram any other modules?

Lets say I have two ECM's programmed specifically for my tractor. Are they plug and play or would other things like the Transmission Control Module or Body Control Module have to be linked up each time you swapped the ECM?

My initial investigation is yes they are swappable, but there are many here with more experience than me with this little tractor.

Both ecu's need to be aligned each time they are switched if they are used. New ecu can pnp 1st time but needs coded.

Or they can be cloned or made Immobilizer-delete by a tuner. I can offer this svc.

I have the stock ECU our CRD came with and a junkyard one reprogrammed by GDE with the HOT tune and our VIN and injector codes. I also have the GDE TCM 'tow tune" in one TCM and a stock TCM. They all interchange in any way you might wish without any issues.

Unlike InMotion, which required sending BOTH ECUs, you just send GDE ONE ECU along with your VIN and injector codes. Keith will reprogram and return. Or, you can order his programming tool. However, if you have one ECU that will run your Jeep in the meantime, it is less expensive to just send him your other one.
