Hello,

I was looking at the list of Techs on the google doc and noticed several techs in NJ but they are a distance from where I live in the Princeton NJ area
Does anyone know of a qualified CRD Tech that owns the Miller tools required that can do a timing belt replacement and warranty their work in either the central west NJ area or even central eastern PA?

I might be persuaded to make another drive up that way, yours would be another in a long line of belt jobs, all are running on the road today.

I would ask you to cover my travel costs in addition to the labor, but even with that in consideration - you would STILL be cheaper than a dealer timing job, and secure in the knowledge that an experienced set of hands would be doing the work. I don't even need any directions or torque values anymore, I have the whole job memorized and down to about 3 hours flat.

Over 225 CRDs currently driving with my valves, timing belt, rockers, or ARP Studs.
Bad noises = REALLY bad things.

Keep looking. I'm sure there are knowledgeable mechanics in NJ. There have been lots of CRD'S there.

Sorry for the delayed response I have been traveling quite a bit for work and then had to have some r&r at the beach.
I really appreciate your offer and I have researched the parts lists prices with factorymoparonline
I also have had some good info on a diesel tech at local stealer which I am trying to workout a reasonable price for the complete t-belt job and a few other items that need attention.
I will let know how it works out.
