Im getting a high voltage code which is causing my dash to lose power, the code I get is P056. Im not sure if it's the alternator or the voltage regulator. Has anyone come across this before? Ive changed the battery already, any suggestions? thanks I've got a 2005 liberty CRD

Check your alternator output and look for bad ground wires.
