I know it's NPT. I'm thinking 1/8.

Sure its not bsp? It would be odd for a European engine to use npt threads. And from pictures of sending units the threads appear straight which would indicate that they aren't npt. I'm just not home and can't look and would rather not have to tear it off to check

I also thought it was odd, but that's where I stacked the sensor for my oil pressure gauge, and it was NPT. I'm also away from the vehicle right now or I would just go measure it.

No worries. Ill be home in a couple days  ill measure it and see for sure. BSP is wierd anyway. taper threads going into straight threads etc. I know from my younger rotary engine days that 1/8 npt will thread into 1/8 BSP for about 3 or 4 threads and seem normal. its only 1 TPI difference.
