$12.99 a gallon, I bought two. I was going to buy some Shell T6 for $30 but I saw this at the last second.
This is an insane discount, I don't think it is advertised so if you pass by one, stop in and check. The sign said all Mobile 1 1gal bottles were 12.99, then it said in small print that TDT is included also. Discount will show up at register when paying.

This is legit, but it only worked for me on the TDT oil. There was no sign, the people in the store had no idea about it... And the other M1 oil was all full price. Only the TDT was discounted.

I only got 2 gallons at that store, but I'm planning to clean out any others I find! Apparently, Walmart will also price-match if you print out the page from Autozone's website with the price. Feel free to steal Wallyworld's money, they have plenty.

Nice find. For what it's worth Rotella T6 is $19.22 at Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/Rotella-550019921 ... rotella+t6) and I was lucky a while back to catch a somewhat unadvertised Advance Auto sale at the same price with a limit of 3 per, should have hit all the Advance Auto in town but...

I typically use Amzoil 5w40 european car since it has the diesel suspension additive formulation. Does the Mobil1-TDT have the same additives (or comparable)? I know the other mobil1 (non-diesel) formula that the dealer recommended does NOT....

TDT is a good additive package oil a lot of guys have posted their UOA reports here and it comes down to you wanting it or not...

Just got back from Autozone. They did actually have a sign up advertising the $12.99/galling price. The sale is good through 12/24. The coupon, however, would not work because of the discount. Not complaining though....2 gallons of Mobil 1 5w-40 TDT oil for $27.73 after tax :pepper: I'll prolly head back next week to stock up. Thanks again for sharing the find Geordi.

Geordi, you're my hero! Thanks for posting it! Wiped out the stock at 3 AutoZones in my area, got 10 gallons. Even the guys there didn't know it's on sale till they didn't scan it. Folks, 13 bucks a gallon is a steal, get it while it lasts...

Acquired 2 jugs from my store .5 miles away.
Ordered 3 more jugs for my F350 and wiped out inventory in a store 50 miles away.

Salesperson was amazed, discount was way more more than cost and he was not even aware of the sale.... :lol:
20% coupon would not work; we tried. :(

I'm glad everyone is taking advantage of this... Would at least someone leave some for me? I've only gotten 2 gallons so far!

I'm going past the other 2 Autozones in my area today before my next trip, hopefully they have some that hasn't been found by either the TDI crowd or the Jeep crowd. At this point, the outside of the store is starting to look like this to me:

I wonder if advance auto won't do a price match with Autozone. I think it's worth trying. They usually match the prices of Autozone.

Thats OK Dan. With yesterday being Sunday, I wasn't going to drive around looking for one that you hadn't hit (and would possibly have been closed) when I also struck out at finding a Chipotle that hadn't decided to close early for their holiday party. I tried both restaurants in the Perimeter Center area off Ashford Dunwoody... One closed at 6 (missed by 10 minutes) and the other in the mall closed at 5.

With success like that guiding me, and being tired from the long day... Some Chinese food and on the way home was the plan.

If nothing else, I'll get Walmart to price match. I know they can be strong-armed easily to do that.

Was this a southeast US sale? MI, SD, and ID Autozones told me, by phone and in person, "never heard of such a sale."

It could be by region, but neither of the stores I hot had heard of it either...but still had shelf cards next to the stock indicating the sale (see photo above).

I was able to get it here in central MA. My local one only had 2 gallons so I am going to the other stores nearby
